Show us the Bunny! Update on the Humane Cosmetics Act

humane cosmetics actThe Humane Cosmetics Act has recently been reintroduced in the US House of Representatives.  This important legislation will prohibit the sale and importation of animal-tested cosmetics and ingredients.

 

Since  the bill was first introduced, over 140 companies and more than 30 countries have supported legislative efforts to end animal testing, and make cruelty-free the standard in the cosmetics Industry.  India became the first official country to claim victory against animal-tested cosmetics in November 13, 2014 – let’s make the U.S. the next cruelty-free zone!

Join us in supporting The Be Cruelty-Free USA campaign,  led by the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society Legislative Fund.  Here is how you can show your support:

1.  Visit www.humanesociety.org/hca and ask your representative to co-sponsor this important legislation.

2.  Raise awareness by sharing the image above or the link to this blog on social media using hashtags #humanecosmeticsact and #becrueltyfree.
