The Salts of the Earth body scrub does a great job of exfoliating my super-dry and flaky skin. It is not too rough that it feels uncomfortable, but it's coarse enough that it does it's job. I find it leaves a film on my skin but I noticed I don't get as flaky after using it, so this could be a good thing. I like to alternate this with the Undaria Cleansing Body Polish, which is a finer scrub.
The Body balm goes on thick and leaves my skin very sticky. When I use this alone in place of my lotion, my skin is very flaky and tight once it dries. I do have incredibly dry skin which is no fault of the balm, but I have much more success with the Undaria Collagen Body Lotion.
