Perfect brush and strength of bristles

I bought this at a spa/clean beauty store I go to for facials. My skin isn't sensitive and is pretty resilient but this brush is insanely rough—to the point of leaving brush marks on my skin. I have to go very, very gently for me to use it. I want to get used to it and eventually use it every day but I haven't been reaching for it since it's so rough. Pretty disappointed.
