We believe that animal rights matter, which is why we have always used vegan and cruelty-free ingredients. All OSEA products are vegan-certified by PETA and Cruelty Free-certified by Leaping Bunny International.

Sustainability & Packaging
At OSEA, we’ve always been guided by the belief that sustainability is our only future. That’s why when we launched our business back in the 90s, we chose to package in glass and prioritize naturally-derived ingredients and sustainable packaging materials. In 2020, we took it one step further by becoming a Climate Neutral certified and Ocean Positive verified brand.Learn more

Advocating for Clean
In 2002, we became the first company to sign The Compact for Global Production of Safe Health and Beauty Products, an initiative from the Environmental Working Group. Their mission is to ensure products are “free of chemicals that are known or strongly suspected of causing cancer, mutation or birth defects.” We continue to lobby our legislatures and advocate for safe skincare for all.
