The Terms Can’t make it for a facial? Rollover an unused facial (or gift it to a friend!) for up to 6 months Going out of town? Freeze or cancel any time with notice of at least 7 days prior to your billing date.
Product-redemption credits must be used at the time of your facial. Credits will not accumulate over time. Your billing date will be the same as the day your membership is activated, so you can plan accordingly. -

Before Your Treatment
What should I expect?Expect to leave your facial feeling relaxed and revived. All of our products are seaweed-based and include active plant botanicals, resulting in a nourishing treatment to reinvigorate the skin. Combined with our signature, craniosacral inspired therapeutic massage, our facials will leave your skin glowing without irritation.
When should I arrive?Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
Where do I park?There is a dedicated parallel parking space located directly in front of the studio at the curb that is painted green. There is also street parking available on Abbot Kinney and around the corner on Washington Way. You may also find metered parking on Venice Blvd.
Do I need to wash my face before my facial?No, we've got you covered!
Will my skin be red and irritated after my facial?OSEA Facials focus on restoring and nourishing the skin with our soothing seaweed-based products. Most guests walk away from their facial looking refreshed and ready to take on the day with a gorgeous glow!
Our facials do not include harsh treatments like peels. Some of our products with more active botanical ingredients and/or our signature facial massage may activate circulation, bringing a rosy flush to the skin. This typically eases within a couple of hours.
Drinking plenty of water to keep skin hydrated post-facial will reduce any flushing. Remember that sun exposure, alcohol, and caffeine can also dehydrate skin and cause further redness.
If I have a beard, should I shave before my facial?You can still receive a facial if you have a beard. If you choose to shave, please do so at least 24 hours before your treatment

After Your Treatment
How do I care for my skin after my facial?Your esthetician will advise on how to best treat your individual skin after your facial. In general, we recommend you stay out of the sun and try to relax the rest of the day. Stay hydrated with plenty of water and be sure to use a fresh pillowcase that night.
Can I wear makeup right after my facial?It is best to let your skin breathe and absorb all of the nutrients from your treatment.

Spa Policies
Cancellation PolicyWe kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you cannot join us for your scheduled facial. Otherwise, the full amount of the reservation will be charged to the credit card on file. We do not provide refunds for late canceled, late rescheduled, or no-show appointments.
Late PolicyIf you’re running late, please give us a heads up by calling us at 310.985.1447, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you by fitting you in for a shorter treatment, or rescheduling you for another time. If we must reschedule you for a different day, or we are unable to fit you in for a shorter treatment, the full amount of the reservation will be charged to the credit card on file.
Facial Requirement PolicyFacial treatments cannot be performed within two weeks of medical facial procedures of any kind, including botox, fillers, medical grade peels/exfoliation treatments, brow tints, or lash extensions. Please contact us in advance to make changes to your appointment booking if this applies to you. If we are notified after our 24 hr reschedule/cancellation window, our cancellation policy will apply.

Studio Returns
If your OSEA product(s) are not perfect for your skin, you may return products within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Services are non-refundable. No exchanges.
We’re unable to accommodate returns at our Skincare Studio for products purchased from our website. To initiate a return for orders placed on oseamalibu.com, please visit our Returns Center here with your order number and zip code.
