I was so excited to try this brand. In the description it states that is slightly gritty. But I found it to be more like a little balls in the lotion. Which to me does not leave your skin feeling smooth. I may be the only person that feels this way but when I touch my skin or someone else does I don’t not want to feel little balls. Also the pump stopped working after a week. I will use what I have because it was pricey but I will not be purchasing again.

I’ve had my eye on the body balm for a while now and finally decided to do it! I went with this duo so I could try another product too. The salt scrub is good, but on a budget it feels like a luxury I could get at a more reasonable price. I do think the lotion is worth the splurge!!! Plus it’s fun to have a nice salt scrub to use while I’m getting ready for summer. I got a sample of the body oil and OMG I can’t wait to get that next time I restock! It looks like there is an oil/balm duo. I feel like the balm is giving my skin a more youthful appearance which is really nice going into summer. I’ve also been applying a regular lotion first and the applying balm on top of it and I feel like that helps it go a little further! Overall I’m super happy to try this product and look forward to seeing how my skin continues to improve with time.

This product feels wonderful on my skin and does not leave me feeling oily or greasy. The only thing I don’t like is that it is slightly thick so it clings to every side of the glass bottle, which makes getting product out via the pump, difficult at times. I finally had to place the bottle in the sink and pour boiling hot water over it, to get the product to melt off of the sides. Without doing so, I would have lost quite a bit of product and it’s not cheap, so I was not about to throw out a bottle with plenty of product still remaining. An option for a refill that does not come in a glass container would be absolutely wonderful, but I also understand the desire to cut down on the use of plastics, so it is what it is.

After having read the reviews, I expected a lot from this balm and I was not disappointed.Not only did I notice the difference, but my significant other did as well. He actually asked me how it was that my skin felt like that of a 30-year old (I am 53). I don’t think I can live without this balm now!
