I used to love this balm and even dealt with the frustration of lousy packaging ...can't get all of product out of bottle. I ordered again in spite of packaging issues and this time there were white grains in the product that scratched my skin when I applied it.
I let customer service know about the grains and was told this is normal...odd, bc none of my other several bottles of this product has the grainy texture.
Very disappointed in customer service response bc I truly loved this product and wanted to continue using it. I've gone back to the undaria oil, but the balm was my favorite. 😢

I received a sample of this and loved it. Bought a full-size. The full-size version contains grains not present in the sample. Contacted OSEA, and they said this is normal and to stir the product (I had tried shaking it). It's pretty much impossible to stir it, given it's in a narrow-necked bottle. Thankfully, I was able to return it. Appreciate the customer service!
I realized that the top (of course, one of my favorites) that I was wearing the day I used the balm is now stained. Like an oil stain. The balm never soaks in...it just sits on top of the skin.
I love the oil (that DOES soak into the skin) and think I'll stick with only that from now on.
