Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, an independent collection of resorts and hotels by Pyramid Global Hospitality, will bring our clean, clinically tested, seaweed-powered skincare—and nearly 30 years of spa expertise—to its spas with two treatments: the Ocean Renewal Facial and Ocean Renewal Body Ritual. Our spa treatments harness the healing power of the sea to support radiant skin and holistic renewal. At the heart of every ritual is our Gigartina seaweed, sustainably sourced from the pristine waters of Patagonia. By mirroring the natural wave-like motions of the ocean with our signature facial and body massage techniques, each treatment encourages mind and body renewal.

The Ocean Renewal campaign reflects a shared commitment to connecting guests with restorative wellness experiences that actively support the preservation of our oceans. From now through December 2026, for every Ocean Renewal treatment booked at participating Benchmark resorts in Florida, Bermuda, and Cape Cod, $25 will be contributed to 4ocean, removing approximately 25 pounds of plastic and trash from oceans, rivers, and coastlines with each treatment. “At 4ocean, our mission has always been to turn individual actions into measurable change,” said Alex Schulze, Co-Founder of 4ocean. “This collaboration between Benchmark Resorts & Hotels and OSEA does just that, by connecting travelers directly to ocean restoration efforts around the world.”

Since our launch in 1996, we’ve been committed to protecting the ocean and its vast ecosystems. The ocean is our source and deepest inspiration. It’s where our story began, and it’s home to our hero ingredient: Undaria seaweed. As a brand whose name is inspired by the elements—Ocean, Sun, Earth, Atmosphere—we have the distinct duty to protect what we draw from.

We have always given back to our source, from our partnerships with Surfrider Foundation, an organization devoted to ocean conservancy and the preservation of our coastlines, to Heal the Bay community beach cleanups. In 2022, we began partnering with Seatrees to support coastal restoration projects, including mangrove planting and kelp reforestation, that help sequester carbon from the atmosphere. Now, with Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, we’re taking that philosophy one step further, using the ocean’s most powerful ingredients to care for skin while helping protect and restore the waters that sustain us.

Our new Ocean Renewal spa experiences build on Benchmark’s ongoing partnership with ocean cleanup company and Certified B Corporation 4ocean, a relationship that has already helped remove more than 10,000 pounds of plastic and trash from global waterways. Since launching its partnership with 4ocean in 2025, Benchmark has also contributed $10 per room night when guests book a dedicated 4ocean experience, equating to an additional 10 pounds of plastic and trash removed per night.
