Our skincare products are made with naturally derived ingredients to provide the best benefits for your skin. Hyaluronic Sea Serum is fragrance free meaning there is no fragrance or essential oils added. However, one may detect a scent from some of the naturally derived ingredients in this formula.
One’s olfactory receptors (or sense of smell) differ from person to person so it is hard to describe what you might smell in a fragrance-free formula, but it could best be described as a bit “earthy” or “medicinal”. Please note the scent does not affect the product’s quality or efficacy.

Out with the old. I used La Mer for decades, but in my mid-40s, during perimenopause, I’ve become more aware of endocrine disruptors in skincare. I was disappointed to learn that, despite its steep price, La Mer is not a clean brand. As someone who has battled hormonal imbalance and fibroids for years, I assumed premium meant safer ingredients—unfortunately, it didn’t. I’ve since moved to OSEA
This isn’t the most hydrating/plumping hyaluronic acid I’ve used. For very mature skin like mine, it feels quite basic. I need intense plumping and hydration, and this just didn’t deliver. The upside is that when I layer it with the Atmosphere Protection Cream in the day and Advanced Protection Cream at night, the results are far better. I think the creams do most of the heavy lifting for moisture. For me, this is a solid three-star product.

It's always been very important for me to take care of my skin. I don't wear make-up but I use skin care products. I've tried several different brands but this one is the best product and brand that I've come across. Im only sorry that I've waited so long to try due to the price. It is worth evey penny; I love all the products I've tried.

This Hyaluronic Sea Serum is my favorite that I have tried of any brand. My skin looks and feels so good when I use it. I use this every day in the mornings and use the Dream Night Serum in the PM. I actually prefer this one between the two, but will continue to use both.

I have been a loyal user of the salicylic acid for years. I received my subscription a couple months ago and for the first time experienced a super foul odor. Wasn’t able to use it, it was so bad. Assuming it was a one off issues, I reached out to customer service reporting that maybe my bottle was bad. They assured me the smell was normal despite me saying that I’ve been using it for years and have only encountered mild odors when I didn’t use the bottle fast enough. They didn’t offer a replacement so unfortunately I just had to buy a new one and throw that one out :$
That bottle had a very very mild similar smell but nothing compared to the previous one. I was reassured that I had received an “bad bottle” until I got my last one which again has a super strong smelly sock plus pine tree odor.
I guess I’m wondering if there was a formulary change. Would love if someone at OSEA would let me know. Just seems like there HAS to be a reason for the big change.
Has anyone else experienced this?
