Out with the old. I used La Mer for decades, but in my mid-40s, during perimenopause, I’ve become more aware of endocrine disruptors in skincare. I was disappointed to learn that, despite its steep price, La Mer is not a clean brand. As a melanated woman who has battled hormonal imbalance and fibroids for years, I assumed premium meant safer ingredients unfortunately, it didn’t. I’ve since moved to OSEA
This body polish isn’t the best I’ve used, it left what felt like a slight film on my skin after rinsing. I prefer a scrub that leaves my skin feeling completely clean and fresh. That said, if it’s truly a clean product, I’ll keep it because I’m committed to avoiding endocrine disruptors. For me, it’s more about the ingredient safety than the experience, but performance-wise, it’s just slightly above average.

I have very sensitive skin and this body scrub doesn’t irritate my skin and smells so good. Also it doesn’t have filmy residue leave behind. Definitely recommend!
